Hi,

I am travelling overseas with a Samsung R225 phone and a Sony Ericsson T300 in a few weeks time. I got the T300 unlocked from T-Mobile but they refused to unlock the Samsung citing the policy "only one phone can be unlocked per line every 90 days". icon_devil.gif

I have been with T-Mobile for 4 years and this is the fist time that I have I requested unlock codes from them. As such, I found their policy a little unfair. icon_cry.gif

Can anyone help me get the unlock code for my Samsung R225m ? icon_confused.gif

Thanks.

Out of curiosity... do you simultaneously use two phones on one line?

The reason for carrying 2 phones is that I am going to spend time in 2 different cities. I plan to buy two separate SIM cards in those cities to avaoid excessive roaming charges.

If you are currently in the USA I recommend you sending your phone to Cingucell.com. Even they are now renovating their website, you may still send your phone to them for Unlocking.

I just did it last week with my Motorola V600. Also they may not answer phone calls now, it's becuase they closed the call center while their recunstructing process goes on, you may communicate with them by email.

I am unsure if www.cingucell.com can realy unlock this particular model by codes instanty, but I am sure that cingucell.com can actually unlock most of all mobile brands especailly by their mail-in option.

I know they offer all nokia unlock codes instantly, also for other unlocking cell phones, I think that they can also provide motorola unlock codes sometime. Ask them!!!

And of course they do Samsung unlock, its from one of the easiest things by them as well as some other mobile phone unlocking services such as the Unlocking by mail-in option mentioned aboce. They can give you the unlock codes for nokia instantly while you wait, Actually for all Nokia models.

I know personally after they had unlocked my motorola, I did a research for all cell phone unlock codes, Also for unlock motorola, as same as all other cell phone unlocking, And I came to the conclusion that for phone unlock or for mobile unlock codes so you can have a sim unlock the first place to try is Cingucell.com.

Even if they not always provide you the Samsung unlock code, you can still use the Cingucell.com mail in service for the unlock of any mobile phone, and same as they offer the cell phone samsung unlock, sometimes even via a remote unlock, for unlock mobile phones.

And as for your nokia or samsung itself, they offer nokia cell phone ring tones, Nokia unlock code, such as some times for unlock codes motorola or unlock codes for samsung, Even if they don't have you the code to unlock your samsung phone, they will still be unlocking your cell phone, I think they do all gsm unlocking.

Though they offer many other services then Mobile Unlocking, I still feel that mobile unlock or for an example to unlock samsung phone, + remote motorola unlocking, is still their priority.
Nokia unlocking, and remote unlocking for card sim unlock, also your samsung unlocking is one of the easiest thing by them.

So go to Cingucell.com to unlock your cell phone, and get your mobile phone unlock codes today.

Go to www.cingucell.com to get the codes to unlock mobile phones.

simlock unlock, phone unlocking, unlock motorola mobile, mobile unlocking, mobile phone unlock, unlock nokia phone, mobile phone unlock, unlock nokia mobile, cell phones codes

Depending on where you are headed overseas your samsung R225 may not work anyways because it is only a dual band phone. GSM 900 MHz/ GSM 1900 MHz are the two frequencies that your phone supports if the overseas carrier that you plan on using is not working off either of those frequencies then you will be SOL is with a sim subsidy unlock

I can usually perform sim unlock service on most handsets as long as they carry the 15-digit IMEI (serial number) series for between $25 to $40 US depending on the difficulty of unlock on the handset. It is usually a good idea to do it anyway as it typically increases the value of the unit on average by 30%. Please feel free to e-mail me with any questions you may have. (wayneschaffer@yahoo.com)

Dont worry about paying for a sim subsidy unlock as long as you are a T-Mobile Customer for atleast 90 days (active service) then you can request the Sim Subsidy Unlock. T-Mobile is one of the few carriers out there that will actually give it to you for free. My Carrier Rogers Wireless (the Largest GSM service provider in Canada) charges 250$ for the unlock code LMAO. For 20$ I can buy the data cable and do it myself. But anyways yeah 90 days to get the unlock code OR if you pay full price at the dealer then you can request the unlock at point of purchase through the dealer.
