I tried calling an estranged friend's number and got the following message: "at the subscribers request, this phone does not accept incoming calls". Does T-mobile block all incoming calls or can people make requests to block specific numbers or block incoming calls when they are roaming or long distance? At any rate, I wasn't sure if you could block incoming calls automatically as Cingular does not have this feature.

I have had the same problem with t-mobile. My phones are never turned on - ever - and sometimes we get the same message. Typically, after the first time it happens, the system will then allow incoming calls to go to my voice mail. It is a severe agrivation and they NEVER seem to be able to tell me why it happens. Basically, their system is FUBAR.

Pay your bill on time, or call while problem is persisting, and have them troubleshoot the issue from another phone....

no, you can't block incoming calls on an active line by request.

You cannot block calls, the switch recording that is listed above generally means that the customers line of service is temporarily suspended, either voluntarily (seasonal, military, lost or stolen) or involuntarily (Smax suspend, non pay etc..)
