Hey guys!
Sorry for my english, i am german icon_smile.gif

i have the motorola v300 and i want to unlock the "java app loader"....
i did exactly the points on the first site.
now the PST 7.1.1. says when i press: phone -> read:

ERROR: Phone not connected. Please connect and power up the phone!

the phone is on com3, so i changed to com1:
then this error when i press phone -> read:
Please power cycle phone and try this operation again (twice!)
the progress bar reaches 50% and then he stopped........

what should i do now?
where can i download other versions of PST?
where can i download updates for PST?
is there an other way to unlock the java app loader?

THX

Have you install all 6 drivers correctly? if not you need to re install them.
You have to disable the modem that is in the #3 first be for you force change your fone modem to take com#3 cause if you don't both modem will share com#3 and causing a comflic. If all not work you need to find and in stall the PST patch

I just wanted to inform everyone that I followed directions from page1 for installing PST Phone Programmer 7.1.1 on my laptop with XP Pro and Service Pack 2 installed and everything works perfectly for enabling Java App Loader on my Motorola V551.

The instructions were a little unclear that you had to download a second program such as MIDway or Jadgen to transfer the games to the cell phone. I figured this out after reading more replies. I thought the PST program was an all-in-one. So I take it that I no longer need the PST program? Is it useful for anything else?

Question1: When I installed PST Programmer another program installed called WIBU-KEY, why is this program needed?

Question2: What is a good game emulator to try these java games on my PC?

Question3: Is there a good conversion program for jar & jad files? or a program that creates a jad file from a jar?

3** Jad maker easy to use drag your jar file drop it in the box and out came jad file.
1** you need universal patch fro PST 7.11 install it and that will take care of the WIBU-KEY. this program is a pro use to fix your fone you can use this to change your frim and softwear of your fone and more if you know how, it got Multi Flash Flex, test data interface. I would hold on to this program for later use if i was you.

Hey guys,

I've followed this guide, the guide at VStuff, and another person who tried to walk me through this. All guides sounded exactly the same in their steps, and seemed to work up until one point.

Once I'm in PST 7.1.1, I can do a new KJava, but when I click read from phone, i run into some problems. It starts off ok, and gets past the "Establishing connection with Motorola Phone..." dialog fine. The progress bar gets to 50%, and it says "Suspending phone" The phone does 'seem' to get suspended for a tiny bit, but then it turns itself back on, and after this happens i get an "Interface Error" "Please power cycle phone and repeat operation again". I've done so, and tried this on 3 systems now, all with the same problem, so it seems like it's my phone. It seems like it gets suspended, then it brings itself back up when it's not supposed to.

After that dialog, I get a more detailed error dialog "Last P2K Status" "Message: Unable to suspend phone. Please power-cycle the phone and try again."

So, does anyone have any idea what could wrong here? installation seemed to work like a charm, I just can't get the darn thing to suspend the phone. Any help is GREATLY appreciated. If you wouldn't mind, I'd love to hear from anyone who thinks they can help.

Again, I appreciate any and all help in advance!

You can try this site.

However, these codes are geared towards most Vxxx phone excluding V180 & V220. I don't know if it will work for you.

look in the 0032_0001 seem list at offset 43

I assumed you tried with pst with no success?
