i have a v300 and i can't seem to use the pst 7.1.1 for the life of me. Can someone tell me the proceedure of getting this program to work so I can transfer games to my phone. I read through a bunch of topics throughout this site, tried everything imaginable that was posted for installing this program, did the whole driver thing, updates, patches, etc.. but i can't get the program to read my phone. The main problem is the driver is on my port com4, but i can't get that box checked, it only allows me to use coms 1-3. Please help me!!!

Try using the 6.7 pst instead.

Can anyone help? I have used pst 7.1.1 to unlock my java unloader but cant do it. Pst will connect to the phone and suspend it but then it wont read the java apps on my phone and let me use the enable java button.
thanks in advance (if anyone can help)

What do you meant won't read the java app? it's is blank? or does it giving you some meesage?. If It's blank that because some allof you stock java has been hiden (not shown att) then just go a head click on the bar that say enable/disable java.... that will activate it

The enable Java button is greyed out and is cannot be pressed until the java apps have bean read off the phone.
messages i get are
reading list of kjava apps installed in phone ....failed
and
java menu state unknown: read phone first.

what now?

and just like the 7.1.1, the 6.7 version is the same way, it won't let me check the port com4 box when i try it manually, it only allows you to use the first 3 com port boxes. I tried flashing the phone with all triplets, etc.......

Hi, Im new to all this though now I've got MPT working. But now I'm stuck with PST. It keeps saying my phone is not connected even though MPT says it is (and I know it ;x). Is the upgrade really obligatorily? Because it showed an error on my computer saying that my OS is not the same language. If this is true, what can I do about it? Thanks in advance.

Ok I'm a TOTAL newbie to tweaking my cellphone and I've searched and searched and read lots of posts on different forums but these instructions worked PERFECTLY for me. I followed them to the letter with the exception that I am using Windows 2000 and I had NO problems.

I have:
Motorola V180
Cingular wireless in USA
windows 2000
-the PST that I downloaded from the instructions.

My phone turned off just as you said and turned back on and worked fine.

As for my windows XP system, PST didn't like that I had service pack 2 so I tried to uninstall it and got the blue screen of death on my windows XP PC. Thank god it's a dual-boot system and the linux side still works, and thank god I have a second computer running windows 2000. The rest of the afternoon will probably be spent fixing the XP system.

To h*ll with wireless companies for sending these phones with this option turned off. They want to make it so that you can only get games directly from them - they charge for the game, plus the data being sent to the phone. What a rip-off! (and they didn't even have the chess game that I wanted for my model of phone anyway)

Thanks for your service and help to the cellphone community.

no good!

this is odd... this software is like the V980... It should work also....

In the game section, I have the "install new", even before I've tried this! The problem is that it doesn't show the apps that I put in the T-flash...

It's supposed to put the jar and jad files in the removable memory, right???

It seems that the only way to install the files is downloading them!!!

please help!

regards
