That solution to unlock JavaApp for vXXX is too large and i think my way will be easy icon_wink.gif

Follow me step by step!!!!

Press "Menu"-key and IMMEDIATELY type 048263*

So youl'll see some requests to enter data:

Opcode- enter 47 and press OK
Field1- 50
Field2- 1
Field3- 67
Field4- 1
Field5(D)- 247

After that on display will appear Results F1:0

Reload your phone and enjoy icon_smile.gif

that doesn't work at all.

I tried to follow the tuturial but then two things happen, first after installing 3 drivers I get an "some of your drivers were not installed correctly" and after when i try to read phone it says failed in read kjava.
I can restart my phone, and I can see the phone status.

I've written !!!press IMMEDIATELY!!!

1. You must exit from all menus of your phone to see main desktop of your MobilPhone.
2. So if we call Menu-key like "M" so you ought to press keys quickly: M048263*

Notice! "M" is a Menu-key!!!

1. Connect your phone to the computer with the USB cable.

2. Right click on Mycomputer -> Properties -> Hardware -> Device Manager

3. Find
Modems. Click on the + sign and look for "Motorola USB Modem"

4. Right click on it -> Properties -> Advance -> Click on Advance Port Settings.

5. Copy down the COM Port Number.

6. DONE....

7. Open MidWay readme and enter your com port number as it explains.

I have Java App Loader done via opcode but I have wireless connection to my computer and when I try to run Java app Loader it asks me for Cable. Is there anyway to allow it to think the wireless connection is the cable?

If so how[/quote]

Are you using Bluetooth? If so Follow this instruction.
"For those of you having problems sending JAVA games to your Vxxx I have suffered the same problem but seemed to of resolved it so only fair that I help you out and have therefore put some instructions together which I have passed to others and they say they have worked. Please accept that they may not for you but try them a few times before giving up.

They are basic and are based on you already installing Bluetooth dongle and being able to confirm that the connection is there between phone and pc as I hope you have successfully sent ringtones/mp3 and photos to your phone from your desktop.

Here goes.
You should have an icon in the status bar of the PC next to the time. DOUBLE CLICK IT. You should see "Motorola phone OBEX object push" this is not normally the obex file you drag and drop the games into. Once you are they anyway on the left-hand side of your screen should be some options, one of these should be "View devices in range" CLICK IT. If you have previously set up the Bluetooth correctly then it should show your phone in range. You would need to make sure that the phone has Bluetooth powered on.
CLICK ONCE on the icon of the phone and on the left you should see some more options and one which says "discover services" CLICK IT.
This will then bring up another set of icons which you think you have already seen, but here is where you drag & drop your .jar files into the "OBEX OBJECT PUSH ON MOTOROLA PHONE" and then it will attempt to connect to the phone and install the games. "

If Sirios, or someone else who knows what they're doing, reads this post, please help.
I tried Sirios' technique on my last phone and it worked perfectly (V400) but I recently had to trade in my old phone for a new, same model, but his technique doesn't work on the new one. I clicked Menu, then 048263* as fast as I could but nothing popped up. Is there something wrong with the newer v400?
If not, I'll just go back to PST, but I'd prefer Sirios' way as it is much quicker icon_wink.gif

ADDED: I used the PST technique, and it worked...but hopefully I'm not the only one who had troubles with Sirios' way.

I'm affraid the new version of V400 won't take the opcode so look like you have to go the hardway PST. Go to www.smart-clip and D/L smartmoto it will have a java uploader activation function that will do it in 2 sec but you have to reboot the fone for it to take effect
