Hi, I have followed the instructions to Unlock Java App Menu in V Model Phones by nukem3000 and this has sort of semi worked for my e378i.
I found PST7.2.3 and this has loaded OK. It will read my phone and when I run the Enable Java App Loader it will suspend the phone and say success for everything. I then restart my phone and go menu>settings> but there is no Java Settings at all.
I have tried disabling the app loader and then enabling it again but no matter what I do, the Java settings will not appear. Motorola reckon I have to send the phone to the US to have these settings enabled and they wont provide any apps at this stage to enable the Jave stuff remotely. Is there any way to enable Java on the e378i without fed-exing the phone overseas.
Any suggestions would be much appreciated

I followed all the instructions to the letter and everything goes well until i click the send jad button.
Four steps are completed on the computer as OK and the phone flashes details of the game, size, version and vendor, and on the bottom of the screen it says downld.
I select downld on the phone and it starts downloading as if receiving the file but on my computer screen, midway starts and failes to open the JAR file and then it says JAR downloading failed.
The only games I've tried to download to my v600 from my pc are copies I downloaded from my v300 to my computer.
I bought the games from t-mobile and my v600 is an old att.
Do you think that the problem lies on the settings on the phones or is it because these are games from an especific vendor?
These are games that I paid for on t-zones but i can't get on my att.
Any advice on how to download the games to the v600?
Thanks, and btw the fastest way to unlock java apps on a moto is to follow opcode, type menu key 048263 and then the star key, works everytime.

Got jad maker and started downloading games to my v600, all except one and I'm affraid it has a security feature because all the others downloaded without a problem.
The one I'm having problems with displays on my pc on the midway window that everything's ok up to the 4th step, Completing transmission OK, but on the phone screen it displays Failed Invalid File.
Any ideas?
Could it be a lock on the game?
Am I making a mistake, because I followed the same procedure as with the others?
Anyway, thanks guys for all your help.
