Hey alright, atleast we knew what the problem is
Like I have indicated this problem in this thread some where by the fault PST can only detected up to com#3. So where did you download your PST? well anyway to solve this problem, do a serach for PST universal Patch loade it in then your PST will then take up to com#8 Or you can go the painful way and that is delete a modem that you not use often to free a comport and the fone modem then reinstall you fone modem!!!. Or you can pass that pain on me by asking me for it ha..ha cause i have a wooobing 56k connection that would take me forever to send it to you

Ok I got the PST UNIVERSAL PATCH (got it from a friend) I patched everything and yet the PST only accepts COM3! I don't know what else to do, I tried reinstalling PST and then applying the patch again, yet that didn't work (and yes I went through all the steps.)
So any suggestions would be nice

Simple Question: Does the phone need to be unlocked somehow before it can accept a transfer via USB? If so how is this accomplished? I've done everything over and over again. Still getting the timer expired problem.

You do have to unlock you fone application and fone lock. But not the unlock as a subsidy code lock. Subsidy code lock is the lock that your provider have on that so you cannot just take another simcasd for other provider pop it in and use it, so when you are unhappy and want to chang provider you have to buy new fone and that stop alot people from leaving

Do you mean installing and enabling the Java App Loader? I have done this and it shows under Java settings. Does T-Mobile actually have a lock of some sort on the phone that won't permit USB java communication? I have read in other forums about contacting T-Mobile to have them remove a lock of some sort. I get as far as sending the download when I get a timer expired message. I was thinking they don't want you to install games unless you download from them. At this time I'm grasping at straws trying to figure out why it won't download to phone. Thanks.
