Ok I got PST tools 6.7 I applied the patch, and as always I can't seem to connect to my phone, but now when I put "auto" it doesn't check COM3 so I guess thats a plus in a way...

oh I found a thread in another forum w/ links to some programs that people may want:

It is now have com#4 to #8 available ? That mean the patch is working.
Try this close everything then open MPT and connect your fone just to make sure it work with that program. Now close MPT and fireup PST with you fone plug in -->open new file..>Kjava--> read fone see if it 'll work thiss time

Ok now just double check under config make sure you have serio port disable and the just doa read fone to see what will happen if it put your fone in suspent mode then will go from there if not. the only thing left is to deleted a modem that u don't need to use right now and delete your fone modem then reinstall fone modem should then be in com#3. Good luck

OK I was checking out the modems that I have, and I only have to installed (as shown in the pic below)

How can I make them so they go in COM1 and COM2? instead of COM3 and COM4? and also if I uninstall my Toshiba modem how do I reinstall it?

Thanks for all your help, its been great!

- Wally.

Do you Know that toshiba software modem is for? that is some kind of software that re quire a modem to dial out so you should have disk of it . If not just find out where that program in your C so you can reinstallit later. There is some thing realy strange about this the patch should take it right up to 8. Check in you PST pack and look for installation gui or read me to see if you do it right or maybe miss a step also look in the patch. Sorry for not responed to you faster icon_redface.gif icon_redface.gif icon_smile.gif

I re-installed my phone modem on the other modem.
My phone modem is now on COM3 and my other modem is on COM4. So I tried sending the stuff, but now I can't access COM3 it only acces COM4 so I was looking through the stuff and I found the problem. Its not detecting my Phone modem. I unpluged and pluged my phone and it showes up for a sec and then it says "NOT CONNECTED" on the modem screen. Whats wrong? Why isn't this detecting my phone? I tried MPT and it detects it fine, but PTS doesn't. This is confusing, im gonna try it on my desktop.
