it doesn't matter which folders the tfs file is in, but yes you do need a cfg file with the tfs file, they should be in the same folder
the cfg tells the flasher where to put the tfs file contents, if the cfg doesn't match that tfs, or the filename isn't the same, or you are not using a cfg then you will get an error
hope thats cleared something up

the patches i know work on x100xedc2 and not on yeseliens firmwares..i wanted them as backup(as x10jvwk1 was my origional firmware)...
patches can do this...
-ringtone limit to 256kb
-ability to use downloaded tone as group melody
-ability to use x100 filemanager
for all the stuff, go to techmobile.co.uk and register an account for u...u will find a lot of intersting other stuffs also

use filemanager to transfer all stuff...............u can change first 17 melodies using filemanager...so than u can use them for individual...all by using x100 manager.get from techmobile.co.k...its in german...but only 4-5 buttons..and their meaning is provided....u will never ever need easy studio to transfer anything
