Hi, i have x100. My firmware is x10jvwk1.......i plan to flash it with another firmware which i will patch to be able to enable 300kb tones and to use x100 filemanager......but available patches are not compatible with my firmware, so i will use a different firmware......i have these queries....how do i achieve complete backup of my current firmware?...just in case..... I also heard of imei number changing with flashing....how do i avoid this?. ......is it possible to just flash with bin file of new firmware? Or i need to do full flash....thanks in advance

More.... I will flash with x10xedc2 firmware......all i want is english t9 and menus....will be using india......is this unbranded version? Is this good version.....i mean its not defective and not too old? Will it work on my phone......any feedback is greatly appreciated

Ok, i came to know that i can backup bin file....is their anyway to backup tfs file also....if not, how do i restore my origional firmware if things go wrong.....please help me.....hey don.....are u there?

Please help a poor first time flasher.  ....i got the dumper/flasher software that supports my phone....u guys say downloader is buggy........pls don, tell me about the firmware i am going to flash{mentioned above} ...i also got patches....what i cant find is x10jvwk1 to keep as backup....

Hi, already tested that site, its only a bin file....u said backup, i can only backup bin and not tfs....is their any way to make tfs the corresponding bin....any info on that the firmware i am gonna flash...branded, work in india? Many many many many many thanks!

x10jvwk1 firmware only contains English, Français, Português, Türkçe language.
not included indian!
x10jvwk1 original x100 phone and x100 dumper program used created .bin file. (my x100 backup )
x10jvwk1 and x10jvwk1.tfs upload your phone. working properly.
x10jvde1 original firmware. not dumped.

Actually, i only intersted in english...other languages dont matter.I cant seem to get the tfs.I am not really getting what u are saying....seems u got all files of x10jvwk1....i want this because this is there on my phone so i want it as a backup.....will u be kind enough to send this to firmware(with tfs file) at my email address....its there in my profile.......I am a first timer and dont want to risk flashing without having a backup.... I am flashing with x10xedc2 beause this seems to be the only firmware that supports access to all folders patch(to use x100 filemanager subsequently)........ i just wanted to know that this firmware is unbranded? and will work in India?

Backup your firmware :
1-open x100 dumper flasher
2-remove simcard your phone (if firmware with contacts backup not remove simcard)
3-close phone
4-connect cable with phone
5- Set com port and speed (com1:115200)
5-open phone
6-x100 dumper says CONNECTED
7-Click "Dump Full Flash (16MB) to BIN"
Complete process.
