Hi there
I recently got an E820 on Tmobile and ordered a USB data cable separately from Ebay. My seller neglected to include the promised driver disc. They said they would send this on to me but in the mean time I was looking for the driver online. I've tried the suggested Prolific drivers but I still can't get my cable to install. I was wondering if anyone who had a similar cable with a cd could email me the driver or something.

Thanks for that. I have the newer version and do exactly the same as you mention, I will check after work today wether I can upload screensavers etc to those folders but I need to double check the file format.Which formats are you uploading? jpeg,gif etc etc?

hey guys, just to let you know i changed thr usb cable for a serial cable as requested and it working fine (so far!) just gotta figure out how to print or email the pics ive downloaded from phone to pc....

I've uploaded gif and jpg without any problem.
BTW, if you need a software to resize whole animation before uploading i suggest you GIF Movie Gear! 
 And if you'd like to try sound capability of your phone check my voice ringtones which are created in MA-5 format supported by E8x0  http://dr-smaf.nm.ru

Thanks for the info, however I checked last night and the ringtones that I want to upload are in mmf format(the same as whats on the phone) but when I,m in filemanager and open the "my sounds" folder on my phone, highlight the tune to upload the upload arrow(icon) is not highlighted(lit)? the same appies for wallpaper and screensavers. But I have managed to upload some of my own photos in jpeg format to "my images" folder and download them again from there. Any suggestions?

I suggest you to use older version of FileManager as I do Since I've heard that newer one failed to work correctly.
You can get FileManager 1.0.0.1 WK1 here http://www.ivkh.ee/dr./PIMS_and_File_Manager.zip
The next thing you need is patch for FileManager which allows to upload big mmf-files. BTW, E8x0 can play mmfs no more than 240 kB But in most cases its enought, at least for me 
This patch is here http://www.ivkh.ee/dr./EASYUTF8_r6.zip Its "readme" in russian since it fixs cyrilic font bug in Phone Book as well. Just put exe-file in FileManeger folder and run
All my files are virus free

hey guys, I have a serial cable for my E800. But the only thing that i can't upload pics or ringtone to my fone. When its unplug the icon melody to phone and image to phone are not active, also Dr. mention he has three folders available i dont have that showed up either.
I'am using Ver PIMS & Filemanger 1.0.0.1 WK1
Please help..
