Hi all,
I have had a nokia for a couple of years. Now upgraded to Samsung V200, but I can't work out how to use the phone's built modem with my Casio PocketPC through Irda. I guess I need some sort of driver.
Can anyone help ?

You shouldnt need to download a driver. I have a toshiba pocket pc and previously used my t68i ericsson with it, then switched to the v200, all i did was activate the infra-red on the v200 ,align the ports and it did the rest itself.

Yep, that worked since. But I now have another problem.
How do I do the same thing but using GPRS instead of a normal data call ?
Whatever the connection type, I need to enter some sort of number to dial on my PPC so that it uses the phone through IRda to connect to the net. What is the "number" for GPRS ?
PS: I have a V200 on T mobile UK.

Yes same isue here..
Tyring to use my E700 as a GPRS modem with my Casiopeia . Running Windows CE 3.. or Pocket Pc  lol
All the settings ala Casio Side regarding the GPRS network are fine as im currently using it with a Nokia 6100 lol.. but the Irda port on the Samsung just dont wanna play.. 
Same sort of issue.. Connects and Disconnects with much haste.
are there any Windows CE Drivers im supposed to be using for the Pocket Pc to talk to the E700.. or is it a lost cause.. and no mobile internet for me

I cant even get my samsung v200 to work with my windows xp computer with the easygprswizard. It says something about PPP link control protocol was terminated... Can anyone help? Also does anyone know the default username and password for it on 02 pay as you go cos I think I deleted it whilst I was trying to fix it. And I tryed to download the update for easygprs but it got to near the end and just stopped..I use the link cable by the way if that helps.Hehe I keep on remembering things lol-The previous error was when the switch o the cable was on data and on d/l it says it cannot connect to the modem.
