I bought an infrared cable for my E700 over 6 months ago and after trying everything suggested by forum members I still couldn't get my PC to talk to my phone. I'm an obstinate sort so I went out and bought a conventional data cable, and guess what, more problems. Briefly, I can now get my PC to recognise the phone on comm port 3 and with a connection speed of 115200 but when I try to load data ( I'm using Easy Manager) I get the error "cannot read messages". To further complicate matters if I look at the device details in Device Manager it states that the hardware is connected to Comm port 5.However if I change the port to Comm 5 in Easy Manager set up I immediately lose the PC/Phone connection and it goes offline. In a word "HELP!" icon_cry.gif
