When you try to load p2kman with the phone plugged in, did the dialog box fashes really fast and ends with p2kman cannot connect or something like that?
If you you would need to open up pst and go to settings and disable serial port (i assume you have a usb data cable), and go to pst config under settings again. Make sure auto dect is selected and not manually.

Redo the steps. Try from the beginning. Uninstall and install it again. Remeber to disable the serial port in pst like I mention in the pervious post.
Also, to have p2kman working you must have pst installed as well.

Did you get it from this site?
Have you ever got this program to work at one point? Do you have mpt software and is it working?
I am thinking it is the driver. You have the wrong set of drivers for your cable. Email me for a different one.

Keep in mind that by by default PST only detected modem up to comp #3. So you need to install a PST 6.7 general Patch to help it detect up to comp #8. Now you need to go to device manager and findout what comport# your fone modem is in and then go back to PST setting and try to match the comport # the main reason for it to not connect is because it can not detected your modem.
