I've installed the DKU-2 drivers fine onto my Win ME PC and can access my phone, extract the phonebook, play about with radio stations fine. But I can't access the phone through the phone browser.
Every time it asks me to enter a familiar name to create a folder on the PC it says "unsupported characters" Is this a Win ME problem or a driver problem??? Has anyone else got this error? Anyone know how to manually enter this name (right click on properties and change it there didn't work).

Update! Nokia advise me if I've got v3.17 on my phone or below I need to re-name my memory card and can access phone browser on PC that way. Tried but failed!
Anyone got any idea on how to get past the "unsupported characters" issue? Would appreciate any advice.

I've got the same problem with Win98SE german and the PCSuite 5.8 (the latest version, that supports Win98).
The Nokia support didn't answer. What did you do?

Nokia's exact words were;
I there is still an issue, I recommend you have the firmware on your phone
updated - you can arrange this by calling a Nokia Service Point. Your
nearest SP is a Carphone Warehouse and the telephone number is 0870 720
4317.
I haven't done it yet as my PC has died on me so maybe it was that all along. Good luck!

Thx
Forget the Nokia Customer's Service.
I believe, I'll wait until I've a new PC with XP (hope, soon). I think, I'll have a better chance then.
