I can store a spoken name with each phone book entry.
Then I can hear the phone "speak" the names back to me when I'm paging through the phonebook.
But I can't figure out how to simply speak the name of the person I want and get the phone to automatically dial for me!

Anyone know how to use the voice dial on the V180 I cannot figure out how to get it to dial out. I can record the names.
Any help appreciated.

I thought once you record the name it should redial it for you when you playback. That is how the v400,600 is setup.

do you press the voicedial button before you say the name?
or do you just yell at the phone expecting it to do its own thing?

Do you have side keys on the phone. It is usually set to one of those keys.

I am not fimilar with the V180 menu. Does it has voice dial capabiliity? Your manual says nothing about it? It should if it has voice dial. Try pressing and holding down the call (green I think) key.

thats where it is for v220, 400, 600, and i'm assuming the 300 and 505 as well.

I would assume that it has voice dial capabilities you can record a name with a phonebook entry. There is only 2 buttons on the outside of the phone vol up and vol down. The book has 2 pages on voice dial one page one describes recording the name the other describes using it with headset. I tried headset still no good.
