hey duceduc, ole buddy ole pal.
Would you help poor fella out??? I need the original version of mobile phone tools and that driver you sent to about 8 million people. I know its a lot to ask seeing how you've already supplied half of this forum already, but i've been all over the search engines the past few weeks with no luck.
thanx

This is what I don't understand. I have mobile phone tools, and the usb cable. I found the p2k driver. The problem is this: everytime I connect the usb to the computer, the new hardware wizard comes up looking for drivers. I tell it to use the p2k driver and it always comes back saying that windows has found a more suitable driver in the c:windows/inf.....
So I have the phone, the usb cable, mobile phone tools, the p2k driver....my stupid computer just doesn't want to use the driver!

all I know is i tried to install it on 2 different puters, 1 with xp and 1 with win 2000. Both times it said it sees the phone as an unknown device and no drivers were installed. When I told it to use the right driver, it said it couldn't. I don'tknow what I am doing wrong. Maybe someone could give me a step by step here. Thanks.

If you have the moble phone tool software and have installed it, the driver is under mpt folder.

Did all of you guys have some othe fone software in your PC beside MPT?? sample Bluetooh cuase they some time conflicting and none of them can work rignt. Try this method specialy you hane WD98.
Go to device manager and deleted your modem if is there wiht a big yellow Question mark and all so deleted all that unisersal usb controller stuff then plug fone in hit refresh or install It will ask punch question say yes to all but when come to your fone, manualy direct it to you driver. See if that work
