I guess you mean AAC...
AAC to mp3 is not possible with NAM afaik.
The best way would be to convert from AAC to WAV and than to mp3.
Directly encoding AAC to mp3 would loose to much quality.
Google can be a good help

DBpower it converts mp3 to AAC no quality loss either as AAc is a higher format than mp3 or newer format its the same format that the I-pod uses and its really fast in converting

Check out AudioCommander from http://www.mystikmedia.com. It includes conversion to and from AAC, AC3, MP3, WMA, WAV, OGG, etc.
