I also have a motorola V220 and want to know how to unlock it. If you could possibly send me the software and info that would be great.

Folks,
I tried to unlock using motorola_unlocker_2005 but was not successful. Any ideas on what might be the problem.

If it's locked, ican unlock it. If you brick it, I can fix it

Type *#9999# if your verson is R365 you need to down grade it to R364 to unlock then go back to R365 with a non locking Flash or unbrand flash
