Scroll down to "Series 60" and there to "Q: How do I format my phone?"
Doesn't normally takes long, a few minutes.

That's only reset ur phone to it's original setting, doesn't completely format C: drive. | Quote: | (using A: - Normal Reset (*#7780#) : Restores ini files from rom but preserves user data (photos, 3rd party apps etc)
- Deep Reset (*#7370#) : This reformats completely the C: drive. All applications and files stored on this drive will be lost and clean default files will be rewritten.) |
I mean COMPLETELY clear C: drive and reinstall the Nokia original files to the phone using personal computer via cable.

Turn phone off, press and hold the green (talk) key on the left + number 3 on the keypad + the * key and then turn the phone back on.

You can't delete stuff from the ROM (Read Only Memory)... and even if, it wouldn't interfer with the charging cycle.
The deep reset will restore everything and set the phone in a state like it would be brand new.
