Hi, can i flash my e710 with my new usb cable or i must buy the PCB093LBE cable? (sorry for my english i'm italian)

Well, i have bought the Serial cable just beacause of that. I was not sure if the USB cable will work, and Don from here told me to use the PCB093LBE, but I forgot to ask if an USB cable works 
So we have to wait for someone here to answer.

The usb port isn't relieved with a com port? where did you find the Serial cabe?

I found an original Samsung cable which connects to COM (serial) port, on a alocal dealer here in Romania, but I have seen plenty of them on www.ebay.com
The flashing process went very well with this cable, and I have throw away the Vodafone firmware (damn it was ugly).

Yeah the Vodafone firmware is very very ungly but here in Italy it's the major...but i just ordere the usb cable if anyone know that i can flash my phone with this USB cable...p.s: the port of USB is Com3?

Anyway you can try.
But you also can buy an adapter from USB to serial, and I think that will solve the problem.
