You need any unlocking cable that can be used with the x426/x427 and Cerebros can be found at http://www.personal.psu.edu/users/s/j/sjs342/

I was recently trying to unlock my X426 with this software (taken from your page), and here is what it says when running:
Open Com1 port (38400Baud, RTS:en, DTR:en)
Sending virus
Wait, initializing lame phone API
AGH-Q100 unlocked
1. Is "Sending virus" normal?
2. The software says "unlocked" , but the phone steel has some disabled functions (like caller group, for example).
What is wrong?

Dont know about the disabled functions but yes its correct when it says sending virus. The software that unlocks it sends a virus to your phone that is supposed to unlock it.

Thank you for your reply.
I have found out that my USB cable is no good for unlocking (that is why no software sees my phone at all) and I need an OEM one
I'll fine THE good cable and try again

Yeah make sure the cable has a little box in the middle of it that allows you to change from Download to date...it needs to be serial too. Do a search on ebay for them and make sure they are compatible with your phone.

The "sending virus" is a joke because there used to be a hacktool virus in the program that was used to remove the lock on your phone. Too many people were complaining, though, so that version has been removed. Now it is just a joke. As far as disabled functions, they shouldn't have been enabled to begin with. Caller groups have to be assigned from the phone book, but group calling is a function that the service provider uses to limit your phone to only call people within a certain group. They enable that upon request

I can assign an entry from the Ph.book to a caller group, but I cannot edit the group itself, hence can't assign a different ringtone or picture.I found some instructions on the WEB saying "go to ph.book and select Group Edit..." The problem is that my phone does not have this Group Edit function at all.
HOW THE HELL DO I MAKE RINGER ID HAPPEN???
HELP
