Ok I have couple problems, First of all I wanted to Unlock my E317 which is on Cingular, so I could use it on T-Mobile, but I ended up using too many wrong commands and Now the Phone says Phone Locked Return for Servicing, and I did something similar to this old e105 I had, but at least with the e105 I put in *#9998*3323# and it lets me get thru and turn the phone on, the e317 wont let me do anything, so My question is, what exactly do I need to do?
Flash, Unlock?
What type of cable do I need.
There is 2 cables I found on eBay, what software do I need?
I dont know which one to choose from.
It seems
this one - Samsung OEM Data Unlocking Cable PCB037DBE e316 s307!

WHILE this one
is Samsung OEM part# PCB093LBE
does not say e316 and is a diff model, but has software included

Also I want to Make the screen go away on e105 also and unlock, thanks a lot everyone, I know your gonna tell me to Search and call me a n00b or something, but the e317 is pretty new, so I needed recent feedback.

just buy OEM cable PCB093LBE it will work for ur both phones
inform me when u buy this cable i will tell u further things to do
donot worry about ur phones u can repair them by urself

what exactly do I flash the phone with after I get the cable, what program, and what firmware for each phone, and also will this Unlock it too?

yes flashing will unlock ur phone if the firmware u flash is unlocked other wise u can unlock ur phone with agere tool 3.08

O Ok Thanks, I ordered the cable, and I will need some help on what programs to use, and where to get the firmware for a e317 from?

Samsung Agere Tools 3.08 will not unlock an e316/317. Not mine anyways...
Any recommendations?

Try getting a Different Firmware, like people suggested, where did u get that Tools Program from?

I know my phones.  I got Agere over at Howard Forums. I unlocked my x426 with no problem. The e315/316/317 has a new data encryption security type of thing that makes it much more difficult to obtain unlock codes. In other words, this baby won't be unlocked until a REALLY experienced hacker finds a way.  Flashing the firmware won't do any good either. I wouldn't want to void the warranty on a $320 phone anytime soon anyway.

Ok well even if I cant unlock it, at least I can get it to work, under the carrier its made for.
I went and got a Cable, Now I need to know what to do to make the screen "Phone Locked Return for Servicing" Go away on my e317 and e105, thanks
My e105 is already unlocked, but I need to make that screen go away.
