when you flash v205 to v200 will it erase the pictures? how bout the downloaded ringtones and pictures?

they will be erased. but since u have the cable to flash anyway just reupload.

HELLO!!!!
When your change firmware you are replacing everything in the phone with an IMAGE of a new firmware!
Everything will be lost if you don't back them up!!!

what about using JANUKA AND SAMSUNG DIY
they are for modding firmware
say, when we back them up and save them and them mod them and then flash the modded firmware back, will the following be still retained if we did not modify them during the modding process
- phone records
- downloaded games
- SMS messages
- sounds

well acctualy you only need to flash the mod to your phone not the whole firmware again.
When making mods you select the images you have replaced and save only them as the s3 ! Which is the "mod" you flash to your phone.

I didn’t understand anything.
 I have flashed my E710 a lot of time but all my ringtone, image and photo didn’t disappear.

Flashing your phone WILL erase all items not saved to your SIM card. The only exception seems to be the funbox. Somehow some of these files CAN manage to survive a flash, but they have ALSO been erased. I guess that is up to LUCK. so.... GOOD LUCK
