hi, Don

I have some problem on my flashing E715

phone is from T-MOBILE last month (Rev E7 1.8 E715UVDC5). I want to enable the movie recorder and to break the limit of uploading ringtune.

I followed every step listed on the first post, but when I power on the phone, every thing was the same, even the phonebook is still in it.
By the way, it took 26min for backing up my sre, but only took about 2~3min to flash. ( I use USB port and data cable)

Can you tell me wht's the problem? Maybe T-mobile disabled the flashing of the E715? (I bought the phone last month)

I tried both of the optiflash 3.5 and 3.6

Thank in advance.

I also have a e715. I flashed it to the vodafone e710 and it worked beautifully except absolutely no service in north amercia.....

It even converted the t-zone sign into a quick menu button and the video recorder was awesome. (Im on cingular)

I just want to find out what version of the firmware will give me all or at leats most of the options as the Vodafone e710 one did but work on North American gsm system.

Wow that sucks!

The 710 firmware is so much better than the e715.
Does any of the e715 firmware have video recorder?
