You can dowload a free, easy to use sound editor at http://audacity.sourceforge.net/

Okay I used this tutorial, which is great by the way, and I used Audacity to filter low frequencies because my ringtone sounded "tinny"...now it sounds good but is real low and hard to hear even with my ringer set to loud. Is there anything in these programs to make it louder?
Thanks!

I don't see an option to send the mp3 to the phone. I'm using PhoneTools v3.30.

Thank you again Kingtz. |
Is it possible to delete those files without flashing or flexing the phone?

the tutorial and download s worked perfectly - HOWEVER- when I went to click on the Notre Dame sound track for my ringtome- THERE IS NO SOUND! It plays well in the sound editor even when I reduced the ring tone to 18 seconds- I could not change the botttom to 22050HZ,32Kb/sec- it remained at the default-
WHY can I not get the Mp3 file to play on the phone- ANYBODY PLEASE!
This worked when I had my V551 with Cingular- but not on the razr phone also with Cingular-
Hope to hear from someone on this issue- it is very frustrating

I've got a Telus Razr v3c, and I can't seem to get it to work. I can put the mp3's on to the phone, and they show up in Sounds and work fine, but it won't let me assign them as my ringtone. Any ideas?
