Someone please help me. The new found hardware wizard keeps comming up n i dont have a CD. and the motorala phone tools just sits there saying instalizing. (its a little phone on the screen) that is the right program isnt it?
First time posting here (finally signed up) long time reader...
Anyways, heres the deal, I have a moto v220 (yes i know its crap - i have a v557 coming soon lol [almost same features as the razr but thicker - i'm a teacher so i cant deal with the possibility of my phone snapping in 2] )
and I recently bought the phone tools cd hoping to transfer the MP3 ring tone from my old phone to my computer temporarily and then load it to my computer for the new phone.
problem is i cant find the damn mp3!
i go to my media then sounds and i see the ring tone in the list!
I looked in the sub menu's to send it somehow but no luck at all!
How come it doesnt show up on the tools program?
What do i do?
Thanks ahead of time!

Its best if you use MPT as it converts the file into bitrates etc the razr can accept.
I can't remember what these are off the top of my head, but if you do a forum search they have been posted before - if you can't find it post back and I'll try and find it
Try the settings listed in the first post in this thread for a start

Is there a way to increase the loudness of your ringtone so its louder than the original song while you are making the ringtone?

You can increase the phones gaintable (see the sticky in the motorola talk forum) to play louder
