I have the same error, and I've installed the drivers as per www.themotoguide.com, but it still doesn't work! Any suggestions? Or perhaps any other program that could do it?

Finally solved the problem. All I had to do was delete the /a/mobile/audio/TempToneDB.db and MyToneDB.db files. Then I power cycled the phone, and when I went into the Sounds menu the next time, it took a little longer, ostensibly so that it could rebuild the database with my sweet-ass ringtones included.
Thank you again Kingtz.
i'm getting the "corrupt" error when trying to play mp3 ringers on my wife's pink V3. i would love to be able to delete these two files to get it to work easily, but i can't get p2kman to work. we use bluetooth to connect to our phones. i have a USB cable, but i can't get it to work (which is why i got the bluetooth.) i'm going to try again, but is there a step-by-step install for p2kman?
thanks a lot for any help!

I've installed RSD Lite and all the necessary drivers. When I start up RSD Lite is recognizes my cell phone. How do I do the actual deleting of the two .db files though? I can't figure it out.
I also have P2K Tools recognizing my phone, but I can't figure that out either.

Use the file explorer in p2k tools to browse to and delete the files.
Alternatively you can use one of the other p2k programs - such as p2kman

Because Verizon disable the multimedia features to try to force you to buy things through them

Is there a way to download the stuff to a Mac computer? All the things I've seen are for windows.
