Hi everyone, just did the steps above, but the nightmare goes when i switched off the phone & turned it on again just to find that the moto animation is still kickin' and is here to stay. i know i am missing something, so could you guys lend me a light to brighten things up?
can you state the step by step procedure of turning the moto anime off.
like the 0032_0001 on 1d @ #3 how can i turn this thing off? and about the 0032_0001 31 @ #0? should i uncheck the bits so the value turns to "#0"?
and how about the custom animation?

Alright, so everything is working except for my start up animation. Now it plays a still image of the Purple Flower/moto logo...and the default animation for the v80. Sounds for start up and shut down are fine and so is the custgoodbye animation. Any help?

EDIT:
Okay, so I had to load my original backup seems because my v80 had lost some of it's features. so, I'm now back to only having the start up sound, which was done simply with P2kman by overwriting the startup sound file. So, still nothing cool. Would it work if someone successfully did this with a v80 and I loaded their seem files?

yes it should but you would still need to upload the graphics and sounds. Try setting up like Duc suggested on the first page if you have trouble with xp start up again check seems 0206_0001 and 0208_0001. Make sure that they say custwakeup in XVI32.

Hi, I followed the instructions yet I still can't get the startup and shutdown animations to play (I get the Motorola flower thingie on startup). I even tried the the instructions in the readme included but to no avail, anything else I could try?

well, the flower is part of the hardware and and software. it will always show. Are you having problems getting the xp startup/shutdown anim to display? There is something minute you are missing. Double check the settings again.

Usually others have poblems with the shutdown audio.

Like I said make sure that seems 0206_0001 and 0208_0001 say custwakeup and the file you load to phone using p2kman is custwakeup.gif. Make sure you disabe default start up by editing The moto startup is in 0032_0001 seem at offset 1D, bit #3 and by enabling custom startup 004a_0001 seem at offset 23. Set the offset to 01

not sure about the V635. I don't have that folder either but have tried successfully in the past to install the xp start/shut.
