hello,
first, let me say this is the best forum. i have found tons of useful info!
ok, now my question: i have a the motorola v505, and it came with some lame wallpapers and ringtones. they have a little padlock in the bottom corner, and the phone won't let me delete them. is any way to do this? thanks!

Use p2kman software to delete these locked files with padlock. You will need a usb data cable as well. See the motorola tuturial section for more info.

alternative course:
Any of the MSS versions higher than 3 will allow you to delete factory data as well...thats what I did just beware what you delete so as duceduc said BACKUP!!!!!! to delete factory data just go the the File Browser tab and select what you dont want one by one and delete file. Simple....careful because some files will cause your phone to go mute ....

The right way before deleting lock files, is the set all your ring style to silent. That ways when you delete those files that phone will not see it as delete.

Is it possible to copy the locked ringtones from the Motorola V330? Via bluetooth or using mobile Phonetools?
