I some similar installation issues with this while upgrading. The upgrade would freeze for no apparent reason. But I think I tracked it down to XP trying to create a RestorePoint while MPT was installing new drivers.
I went to Settings>Control Panel>System>System Restore and checked the box for 'Turn off System Restore', then ran the installation again. It worked fine.

what does that mean? sorry i'm new to this
my service is verizon and i was told that verizon wont let you use multimedia tools. Can i get around this some way

so i have read up on seem edits but i cant find an edit that is clearly described. The one on the website is confusing, Do you know of a website that has a clear seem edit walkthrough? Have you done a seem edit on your phone

I've done lots of SEEM edits - but not on CDMA models - we don't have CDMA in the UK.
We don't have a CDMA expert here - try posting in my site that I linked to - in one of the CDMA boards. Pyde_pyper should be able to help

MPT will not acknowledge my phone. Prompts to update phone list. Prompts this version can not be updated! Nextel i880
Any ideas?

I'm having problems setting up my RIZR Z3 too, I'm trying to set it up manually, but it won't let me even reach the main screen to choose menu or setup. I keep getting stuck with a message to update MTP, but then it says that it is updated. Thanks!

I'm having an issue with my razr v3m. I'm able to transfer songs on to my phone, but it only transfers 0.05 seconds of the song. do I have to convert the song into a different format? Any help is greatly appreciated.

hello everyone.
i borrowed the disk and usb cord for motorola phone tools from my friend.
i have a morotola v3.
the first thing i did was connect my phone and when i heard a ding i put the disk in and installed it.
the phone skin on the desktop is just like my motorola phone and every thing. but when i tried to send pictures from my phone to the computer said it wasnt connected. im not sure how to get it connected. i have tried everything. if you could help me i would be really grateful.
i have Windows XP .
