Hey i just bought a New RIZR Z3 and It Came with phone tools 4.0. And Iv updated it, reinstalled it, restarted my computer, restarted my phone MANY times. And It wont recognize my phone. it just says no phone is connected. My phone has no reaction what so ever to me plugging it in. The only way i can get the phone setup to even start "detecting" my phone is the plug it in and then turn it off, then back on, and it begins the little Green Bar until it finishes, just to tell me no phone is detected. Im getting a little pissed off with this stupid thing. What else should I try?

Do you have the phone set to data/fax mode

Yes it is set to data/Fax mode, I go onto settings, connections, USB, Data correct?

Can someone plz help me on this. I am facing a problem with MPT and keep recieving error messages. When I try to save a ringtone it says "Failed to create file" and when I try to transfer songs to my phone it says "Unsupported format (mp3 codec may be inappropriate or missing)". But its working with image i am able to transfer into my phone. I have RIZR Z3 t-mobile. If someone know plz tell. i have almost wasted my three days on this.

ok. so i got MPT last weekend, and i can't get it to work at ALL. i have gotten one cut ringtone to my phone because it won't save or transfer any files to my phone, even though they are MP3s. after i crop the song i want transferred to my phone, i try to transfer it to my phone, and it will say either "failed to create file" when i try to save it under an MP3 OR it will say request denied by phone (wrong finle type) what can i do?! everything is working correctly except transferring ringtones to my phone. if any of you could help, that would be great! thanks--

I have a problem when i downloaded everything. for the bluetooth stuff but when i Click Bluetooth configuration nothing is happening ,,,,, btw i have Windows Vista if it's another way please please help ,,,, btw i have motorola phone tools, When i connect it's detecting half and it's stopping please help

So.
First of all, I have windows vista. Just recently I had to have it repaired and I lost everything. Previously I had MPT on it and figured out what to download to make it update and work. I just got version 4.0 and have no clue what to do. I get to the part where you connect your phone and it doesn't recognize my phone. I try to update and it just gives me an error window. Can some one offer some advice that has krzr on what to do?
