I cant make motorola phone tools work along with my v3 . After the message that says "your phone is being installed and set up" i get another message that says "motorola phone tools has not detected your mobile phone" .What happens ?

okay so i have a k1m and i have motorola phone tools installed. it wont detect my phone and it cums up with a pic of a diff phone. and dont work. what do i do

I GOT IT! okay i called motorol and they said it was cause i dont hve the latest version of MPT. so they sent me an email sending MPT 5.4.6 or sum like that. i can give you the address when u click on it click save and then when it is done saving it can install. send me an email if youwant it. they wont let me send the address on this yet. im to new of a member. okay. my email is medlock22@gmail send me an email with the subject as MOTOROLA PHONE TOOLS

alright i just got a new phone, motorokr z6m, and wanted to put ringtones on it. i had been using MPT to put them on my last phone, a razr. buttt now the software doesnt recognize my phone and i can't seem to find any other way to transfer them to my new phone. any ideas? =)

Had a similar problem but fixed it quick.
For the Razr V3A black/gray
I eventually called Motorola because non of those hacks/seems/drivers/pk2 stuff worked for me.
Simply put they didn't give out the Newest version of the Mobile Phone Tools CD when they gave out the phones! For the Razr V3A to work it must have MPT version 4.5.6 (which is not even available thur thier website unless you want to purchase it). I would advise any new buyers to contact Motorola who will send you a direct link to download the new version.
File titled: 4.5.6aeng
After you download it
It still will not find the phone automatically.
Do the Manual install
Use/choose: Motorola USB Modem
Device: Motorola CDMA
Model: L7cm
Should work like a dream!
Hope this helps. It only took me 17 downloads and 2 weeks worth of hunting to get it right!

i installed motorola phone tools 4 and everything installed alright then it cant idtifiy my fone i have a I560 help i need themodem name (device manaufacter and connection type)

I need help with motorola phone tools and my motorola v235 phone! My phone tools will not recognize my phone, even though I've used it before with no problems. PS: I don't know computer mo-jo, so simple terms please. HELP!

ok so I just got MPT, and i can transfer pictures perfectly.<br> but when i want to crop a song then transfer to my phone for a ringtone it wont save as a file. it always say file not saved.<br>i need help! plz plz can someone give me an answer?
