If you have no intentions with MPT (Anyone looking to upload ringers will) then you just can install the Modem driver from PST. It works just the same as MPT so there you go. If your using a newer newer phone then I do by all means recommend the MPT before PST jump as MPT 3.25b comes with fully loaded drivers. If you ever had problems and the phone hung in "Initializing...." ensure your up to date. Goodluck and Happy Modding!

If MPT is compatible with V710 its the program you want.

When I synch my RAZR with Outlook, it ignored a few of my appointments, and so far it has ignored all new appointments. Does anyone know how to get calendar synching to work reliably?

Last week, I received the Motorola product "Mobile Phone Tools v3.25b". Since I have over 400 contacts in my address book, I need to restrict the number of fields downloaded from Outlook Express. Since my v551 phone stores each number as separate entries, I have over 1200 entries in my phone.

I've tried to remap and eliminate an unnecessary field, like a fax number, by using the software functionality listed under the following selections: Mobile Phone, Options, Synchronization Settings, Mapping.

However during download, it says every contact is not sync-able. I've tried removing different fields and always get the same error message.

When I change to the default fields, the download works. But I really don't need email addresses or fax numbers in my phone.

I have a motorola v180 and Motorola MobilePhone Tools 3.11. I updated to the newest version, and I made the phone on my computer a Motorola V180. Under my modems, the Motorola USB modem shows up. When I connect my phone, it says that it is not connected.
PLEASE HELP
all I want to do is put MP3 ringtones onto my phone.
