I just switched from AT&T digital to Cingular GSM and got a different cell phone#. After the switch, somehow everytime I call my cell from my home phone, it always goes to the cell's voice msg retrieval system (where I have to enter the PIN etc) instead of allowing me to leave a voice msg. How can I fix it? Both Cingular and SBC (my home phone provider) blame each other....

This only happens when your are calling from your home to your mobile phone? This is very odd.

Yeah, i know
Any idea why? I asked Cingular to reset my voice mail twice. Perhaps I should ask them to disable my "enhanced voice mail"?

funny that SBC blames Cingular, as they own 60% of it...
Anyway, I don't have that service, but perhaps it thinks its doing you a favor by allowing you to enter your password from your home number.

Well, it's not *me* calling myself. It's *my wife* at home. Get it?
