I make it to connections and I have a sync there, and nothing else. Can anyone help with this?

Which motorola phone are you trying to pair? If you have to V400, you will not be able to because the V400 does not come with bluetooth built inside. THe V600 has it although.

correct, but I have a bluetooth wireless adapter by Motorola. This should work to pair the two together.

I never work with a bluetooth adapter before. When you connect it to your v400 phone, does it enable any features or settings for bluetooth?

Yes that is part of my problem. The adapter says it works with the V400 yet nothing changes. As far as I can tell.

Hi,
I was just wondering if you were still having trouble with your bluetooth adapter or if you found a way to get them to pair up and work with your phone. I am having the same trouble and would like to know how to fix this. Thanks!

I'm not sure if you were still interested in getting the v400 to pair up with the bluetooth adapter and headset, but i just got them to work! I had to call Motorola because Cingular doesn't provide bluetooth support with Motorola products. Here's what I did:
Turn on the bluetooth headset (I have the HS820) and hold the button until the light becomes a solid color blue.
Then turn on the adapter and hold it down until both lights on the adapter light up.
After that, both the headset and the adapter will blink together rapidly. The lights will then alternate. The headset and adapter are now paired up. That's all there is to it!
I only wish they could put that in a user manual without having to go through so much trouble. If you have any problems, let me know because mine now works wonderfully!
