I don't know if you can upgrade the firmware with V600 files. However, you can edit your seem through hex edit. Not all codes will work, but you can see which ones will and will not.

Thnx Gadget,
So how would I know which is the firmware for V180?
I have TRIPLETS_G_0B.0x.xxx's.
Are these flash/flex can only be used on V400/v600?
Another word, what is a good firmware for v180. I'm getting 2 free v180 deal with cingular, and I wanna unlock, and make it non-brand.
Thank again.

My cellular network (Cell C), says that they are able to upgrade your phone's software. Is that the same thing as flexing or flashing?
Would you recommend having the software professionally upgraded (expensive) or doing it manually (cheap but risky)? You see, I don't wana mess up my phone!

Wait so after you flash and flex the phone is it unlocked, or are you still going to need to enter a subsidy password to make it unlocked?

It could be an incompatible file. I don't recongize the the flash file. I would try reflashing to a different firmware.
