I don't recongize the flash files. I don't know if any of these files will work.

Old _fool knows a way to enable video using Motokit. Try playing with that.

When you get a bad flash or incompatible flash files, you may recover it by using a monster pack. The problem is sometimes the monster pack doesn't work. The other problem is you would need to find a monster pack.

It is a risk. I will look further into it. No promises.

Update:
Is your friend's phone a cdma rather a gsm V265? Cdma is harder to work with and could be a pain in the arse to flex. It is unstable is you would need to put provider customization back to phone.

PHONE: V265....ok, well put it this way, for anyone out there that wants to try this, including duceduc, or just for reference, its not possible. I Tried to flash it with the Triplets .45R Reflash and it just deleted all the ringtones and messed up the phone book to a non viewable state. It also deleted the calculator too. It did diddly squat, but delete things. So needless to say, dont try to flash because it just messes it up NOTHING ELSE!

Flex: When I tried to do this, both times is failed half way through (I used a V600 flex and V3). Suprisingly it did nothing to the phone (you would think......paper-weight right lol nope)

Customizing: When I tried to do anything with it besides use MultiFlexTool, like use motokit, p2ktools, ect. it never connected. I have two computers and i tried to install fresh new drivers...no different.

Opinion Base Statement: Phone sux to do modding to. Also I couldnt get games nor videos on his phone. So needless to say the phone is now worth about 40 bucks, because i cant go into the ring styles menu now, and i cant use anything (not even PST Phone Programmer) to fix it icon_squint.gif, and there are no pics or ringers. HMH close to a paper-weight, but he is happy though, that it deleted all the ringtones and pics icon_biggrin.gif .

SO Overall: DONT try modding ANYTHING with this phone.

And yes duceduc it is a CDMA. Maybe why its hard to do anything like you say.

Well duceduc thanks for helping me through another tough Flex/Flash icon_confused.gif

I've (unsuccessfully) tried to reflash my V220 down to 364 (from 365) for removing the simlock, and are now left with a totally blank Secure Blank Neptune LTP -unit.

When trying to reflash it, I get this message:

ERROR: The superfile selected is for reflash. You must use a rom superfile with blank Subscriber Units.

Seems I've managed to erase the entire flash-area, though it still responds to messages using P2K, so I guess all is not lost.

Someone able to give me a hand with pointing me to the superfile in question?

Edit:

Replaced motherboard, main EEPROM handler was corrupted as well.

Second try on the new board:
- Flash to R364 : ok
- Removing the SP Lock : ok (using chfaken)
- Flash to R365 : ok

Funny thing now is that i can't program the wheelkeys nor anything else.
Thats a seem-issue, so I'll poke my nose into that as well.

Current versions:
Flex: SE8575AXXJ61A3
SW: R365_G_0B.D2.23R
LP: 002C

Works like a charm and it's not locked :)

Edit:

Fixed seems to implement the wheelkeys and the other functionalitites, turned off dual-line support (not needed).

Try starting in boot loader mode (*+#+power) then flash with monster flash, or try taking out sim and see if the phone goes to the insert sim screen, then flash.
