wth? now i hook it up to my pc and it says tmobile, maybe the fone is just having some trouble adjusting. also the screens are totaly different, the fone says full bat, the softweare says half, and fone says cingular, roaming, and has the 2 boxes connected with lines, ant the pc says it just says full bars, now it says full bat, has a world logo, and says tmobile us. huh..still roaming?

The phone is probably telling the truth - cingular and t-mobile have tower sharing agreements. If you want to read the plmn_table from the sim it will read as t-mobile again or you can let it tell you the truth.

For the battery do the battery fix - use the phone till the battery goes flat. Remove the battery for 5 minutes, refit the battery and charge overnight with the phone off

Hi I will be getting a Razr V3m from verizon in a couple of days and really dont like the fact that they got rid of the Motorola OS and the abilities that went with that.

Has anyone tried flashing the new Verizon Razr V3m yet?

Or are the files not out yet?

I just want the os to fall back to what motorola had released it as before Verizon limited it with their own stuff.

But I still want the abilities that verzion had for it like the ability to download music, with get it now stuff ect.

So any help or something to point in the right direction would be appreciated.

Before I look into flashing my v551, what is the latest firmware/flex version/etc...?

Edit: Nevermind, I spoke to a Cingular rep and he said there is no firmware upgrade and that the v551s are just patently unstable... icon_blink.gif

Have there been recent (like in the last month or two) firmware upgrades for the razr.
I.e. the media edition firmware ????

If so where could I find it?

There have been no recent updates for the razr and there are unlikely to be any soon - that phone is near the end of its life. Has for media edition - there isn't enough memory on the phone to do anything with it even if there were.
