hey yeh. i really don't know what to do. i tried using the software bundled in with the phone but it doesn't let u transfer and install java games. i've got one which is a .jar file but it says its not supported. the only option that lets u put things on your phone is via the multi media section and that only includes sound, video and pictures. how can i put java games on my phone? i've read some other posts and they mention pst or something, i don't know where to get that from and if it would work.

thanks.

henriii:

Look in the motorola tutorial for 'how to: install java app loader.' Once you have enable java app (if not already enable in your phone), you have to convert the games from jar to jad file. Try using jadmaker. Do a google search. It is a freeware.

Find the freeware call jadmaker. You have to convert the games to jad file. Then, use midway to transfer th games over to the phone. Make sure you setup the correct com port in Midway.

Henriii:

Here is the link to Jadmaker. Use this to convert your games files from jar to jad file. Just drag the file. It will automatically create a jad.file on your desktop of that game.

Use Midway to transfer the game as you tried the first time around.

i've already got jadmaker. What i mean is i think i need midway... i don't think i have that. where can i get it from? What i have is called "mobile phonetool" it doesn't give me a directory to drag the .jad file too. and when i drag it to another directory it says file type not supported.

My mobile phonetool does not conenct after i enable the java app loader too. only when it's not active. when i activate it it mentions something about jal active. is that normal?
