Try to find MPT2.21 is good enought but if you can find 3.11 even better. All of the sofware you need is in this forum a couple pages back read thru them u'll find them. hurry before the MOD clean them up because it is against the rule of forum to post links to warez or asking for it.
These are all the stuff you need,
Data cable.
Moblile Phone Tool. 2.21 ( you can get 1.23 the update).
PST 6.7 and the Patch.
Midway 2.8
Jadmaker.
Gather them all up try them out if you got stuck don't know what to do ?, comw back here post you quest up i'll be here and so are few other people know how will help. The MOD duceduc will too if you ask him

Did you recently deleted a ringer and or wallpaper using p2kman? When this happens, you delete a wallpaper or ringer that the phone was set to. Now when it tries to find that deleted file, it don't know where to search and and kicks you back to home page.

That is my guess of why it is happening.

IF you don't have a cable and p2kman, try to do a master clear of the phone. It should be located in initial setup, master clear.

Somehow I thinking you didn't have cable. Since you do, go into p2kman and delete mytone.db & tempton. db and than do a master clear.

See if that works.....

Did you delete the file MyToneDb.dbf using PK2 or at least performed an UPDATE PHONE command after revising all your ringtones? If the said dbf file is still there and couldn't be deleted, try to restore your tone repertoire before the messy situation occured. There's a discussion on the proper procedure in dealing with this problem in HELP. What's worst, if the situation becomes unresolvable, then you have to re-install the whole Motorola software system that they were telling, by which I myself don't know where to find. Probably some other guys in this forum or the Motorola Technical Support Team know where to get this if this is a freeware.

By the way, the dbf file has a back-up. try to move it to your PC, rename it to MyTones.dbf, and move it back to your phone.

Good luck!
