I have c385 and I managed to transfer mp3 to phone,but when I set it for ringtone,phone wont ring when someone calls me.It plays when i try to preview it.What is the problem?

is it in mp3 format or wav? I noticed on my v600 if i save it as wav, it will play but I can't choice it as a ringer.

Cut it down to 20 second? try to have that in ring and vibrate to see what happen

did you use p2kman to upload the mp3s? i had the same problem. you have to delete MyToneDB.db and TempToneDB.db files in the \a\mobile\audio directory and then reboot the phone so the phone will rebuild those files.

yes i used p2kman.If i delete this files will it harm the phone?On what phone did used this metod.BTW when i download mp3 from GPRS it works fine

So then why not just download all your mp3s from GPRS... I don't think these will harm your phone, but don't take my word on it. Depends on what phone you have. It will not harm a V600.. thats what I know

i had the exact same problem with my v220. and all i did was delete the above mentioned files and then rebooted my phone it worked. try it. the phone recreates those files after the reboot.

guys u are the best!
i try everything with my c385 but din't work
now thx to u all i make may fone ring with mp3
i was a little afraid when i delleted my tonedb and the tempdb
but it was no problem
thx again guys and excuse my language but im from romania and i don't now very well english
