I have a T310 an i recently bought a DCU-11 USB datacable to upload pics and sounds to my mobile phone. I have installed the drivers for the cable and downloaded some software from www.sonyericsson.com.
But when I plug in the phone Phone Monitor can't detect him. icon_sad.gif I guess Phone Monitor isn't compatible with my T310? Can someone give me a link where I can download compatible drivers ?

Tnx in advance

nothing to do with downloading any more drivers, the DCU-10 and 11 cables are compatible with all ericsson/sonyericsson phones since the T39!

Try this with the cable and phone connected -

check in device manager to see what com port the computer has assigned to the dcu-11 (it'll appear under ports as a com port). If it doesn't appear in here, and there is a USB device with a yellow ! next to it, delete it and remove and plug the cable back in it should now install properly.

go into phone monitor and on the com ports page, enable this com port, but DONT reserve it or it wont work.

then, to get the phone monitor to notice it, you'll most likely have to try synching the phone using the XTNDconnectPC that comes on the cd with the phone (not the cable - wrong software).

Phone connection wizard should appear and ask you to name the phone and the sim

once you have gone through this bit, you can use all the software without any problems.

The cable is installed good and the phone monitor is configured good BUT I don't have a CD with XTNDconnectPC. There wasn't a CD-ROM with the phone when I bought him.

EDIT: After a long time of trying it finally works

I have the same phone and the same cable and I usually have to leave the phone plugged in the DCU - 11 cable for about 15 mins. before phone monitor detects it...
Is this normal ?

Somewhere on this forum i read that the t310 and the dcu-11 cable are not compatible. Is this true? Has anyone connected the t310 through dcu-11 and using it as a mobile for internet on the pc@?
Thanks icon_question.gif

After 7 heures of work, i found how to connect the phone. Using Phone Monitor, enable the com port, and with a program as "send file" send data from pc to phone. But is impossible to transfert data from phone to pc. Only with IrDA.

When you connect the phone, wait 1 min with the software open. Now the software identify the phone.

Bye!!

Yep, i have the t310 and some aftermarket dcu-11 cable...

the drivers i install are the ones ive found online for them.. i dont know if theyre even right... under ports.. the cable is identified as.. "Susteen virtual comport" so im guessing its the wrong drivers...

anyone got any idea where i can get these drivers? i dont have the cd.. it didnt come wth a cd :\

thank in advance!
