Hi can anyone tell me ...iwont to flash my samsung E710 which is unlocked but has the horrible red vodaphone firmware i found the optiflash software. and am ordering a cable..downloaded E710XXDF4 is this the english version for uk or whats the best firmware to put on it to get rid of the vodaphone......
on another point is there any way to enable dilivery reports on texts

yes this is best firmware to get rid of voda phone if u want turn on delivery reports go to text messeges setting then go to common setting there is option to enable delivery reports

thanks //but in text ...settings i have setting 1and setting 2 and common settings .the later is sort of greyed out and no further options, it is displayed for picture messages but not on text. can this be enabled if i flash? what games are on the new firmware?

just in case any one had same problem....
i enabled delivery reports on texts which was unavailable in settings/common by turning off delivery reports in picture messages

Hello,
im trying like hell to flash my samsung E710 Vodafone,
i downloaded the optiflash 3.7 and have the cable PCB093LBE and the right firmware and when i launch first the back up (after put the good settings) this log appear :
E29 21:15:47 Hit On/Off button
E30 21:15:47 TalkToBootloader
E31 21:15:47 Talking to passive bootloader
and then nothing happens
pleaz help me :'(

You didnt forget to put back in your battery, then connect to the cable and hit on for 2 seconds ?
Also is your cable switched to 'data' ?
Is your battery empty ?
Oh and did you select the right com-port in the settings of Optiflash ?
If it doesnt help you should close optiflash I think, take our your battery, restart optiflash, do the flash thing ( did you backup first?) , and then when it tells you to, put in your battery, attach it again to the cable and hit on for 2 secs.
