Hi there, i have an issue with my motorola V600. When i power on the mobile phone it works well for some time but after openning and closing the lid a few times the external display starts exhibiting various issues. The numbers that display the time start getting inverted or it shows no image or the image gets a static effect. For it to work well again i have to power off and on the phone. Is there any way to solve this issue without sending the mobile phone for repair? This appears to be an issue with the firmware of the unit but i'm no expert in mobiles phones so any tip would be greatly appreciated.
Best regards
Pedro Pinto.

Did you recently upgrade your firmware? What flash/flex did you use if you have?

I haven't done any firmware updates to the mobile phone, i just bought it... The issue here is that i bought the phone from another person that no longer has the proof of purchage and the motorola repair center here require a valid proof of purchage to repair the mobile phone with warranty coverage. I don't have the cables to connect the mobile phone to my pc and perform a firmware update or else i would do it! I also don't know the security code of the unit to perform a restart, the person who i bought the phone indicated that he never changed that code, i've tried the default codes 000000 or 123456 or 12345 ou 1234 or all the sequences 111111 and so on... What can i do to solve this issue?
Thanks in advance for any help given.
Best regards

I have the same issue as you. Mine happen after I flash/flex it though. It could be coincident. Bad outer screen perhaps, loose connection? There is a software call mss. If you could find that software and get yourself a usb data cable, this software tells you the security code and the passcode.
The default security code should be 000000 and passcode 1234.

If i just had an usb cable.... i've seen in another forums other people with the same issue but when they perform a reboot to the mobile phone it starts working well again for some days. Isn't there another way to check the security codes without a cable? Another question, when you buy the mobile phone brand new does the USB cable is included?

Cable is not included with all motorola phone purchased. The razr v3 phone does come with cable and mobile phone tools software that everyone here wants to get their hands on for free.
