Ok guys.I've had the phone for 2 days.Perfect phone,ect..u know icon_smile.gif
But...
as I've been exporing the phone and its software all day I managed to transfer only mp3s and pics.(using Motorola Phone Tools)So far,so good.
But the phone seems to support themes and java apps as well.I truly believe that I will be able to upload such kind of stuff to my phone somehow. And there it goes - please tell me how to ?
I installed p2kman and it shows constantly -not connected- No difference after re-plugging(via USB cable). The worse thing is that when I start MPT an icon appears on the screen(not connected)?geezz! icon_blink.gif
I would be grateful if you help me solving these problems! icon_cry.gif

I started using p2kman and there were some files (like "techno" skins, for example) that I thought I could erase.

The problem is I fxxxed up! Now my phone doesn't show icons properly and is having some other problems as well.

How can I recover the files that I erased using p2kman.

In case that is not possible, is there a way to reinstall missing files (like rebooting the phone or something??) Is there a way to download those files from the internet??

By the way, my phone is a V620.

Thank you in advance for your help!

Sounds like you deleted the moto skin?

If that is the case copy it back onto the phone. If you cannot find it a monsterpack or flex would fix it but is a bit drastic

You would need to upload the gain_table.bin file and edit it using xvi32 or my seem changer program.

So... where could I find the skin you are talking about? What is a monsterpack or a flex?
I was thinking... if I had a problem with my pc, I could reinstall Windows XP again... is there a way to do the same with my cell phone??

Thank you.

Thats what a flex / monsterpack would do.

The flax is all the phones settings and files. A monsterpack contains a flex and also a flash (firmware)

Its best to get a monsterpack/flex for your provider if there is one.

However this will delete all your data - its best to fix if you can - take a look at http://www.themotoguide.com/index.php?PID=1&PGID=4292VmDaTP
