I am using a Motorola v600 and I really like it but I can't find anything on how to activate voice dialing even with the instruction manual. Can anyone tell me how to attatch voice tags to numbers? I know how to access them (voice key) but I don't know how to attach them to the numbers.

Choice a contact name to edit.
Click on edit.
Scroll to voice name and click on record.
Follow prompt.
Repeat for all other contact names.
To use:
Click on right side key and say name of contact you wish to call

I think I know what your problem is. You can only set phone options on a certain caller ID when the name is stored to the phone ( custom ringers, pictures, different lights, Voice Dial) ... Try changing the *stored to* option to phone, and see if the voice dial option comes up... Post back with results.

This is correct. Make sure that the contact is stored to phone not to SIM. If its stored to phone then you should be able to enable voice dialing with that #.

um.. just to warn you that you won't be able to store voice names for all your contacts, unless you have like 20 contacts ... I remember with my old T720, I could only store 10 voice names.. I don't know how many you can store on this one...

LOL...Keep in mind T720's have 500kb memory the new phones have 5mb so the #'s have increased. It's not going to be that many but look in the owners manual how many contacts you can hold with voice dial.

You Think
Well I got the V551 with 5mb mem, and I only have 20 voice dial entries.
