Could also be a damaged / loose antenna or maybe you just are in a no signal area?

It's in almost brand new condition, everything on it is working fine, and plenty of signals as I have a Samsung D500, and Nokia 3330, aswell as Nokia N91, Nokia N-Gage, Samsung D600, and some old GSM. They work fine, but I want the V3 to work for a nephews birthday... He loves the V3!!
Sorry lol ignore the personal story... Anyway, I insert a sim card, and for a couple of seconds it has reception, then all of a sudden "Unregistered Sim".
Sim works in every other phone, but NO SIM seems to work in the V3... Blacklisted??
