I have been sent PST version 6.7 because MultiFlashFlex tool wouldnt even open on version 7.11, i installed 6.7 and tried to open MultiFlashFlex and it came up with an error saying:
Error: Cannot load the flash tool! Freindly Name: Flash Prog.
What does this mean? How can i sort it?
It opens up after the error has popped up and i find the file i want to flash and have followed all of the instructions form the how to: flash/flash vxxx and i click on start and it says something about the flash not being able to initialize
Also i have service pack 2 installed on Win XP - is this a problem?
How can i get around it
Thanks for any help!
Feel free to email me!

Make sure you have uninstall 7.1
Install the 6.7 general
Reboot, than install the 7.6 unipatch

I have done what you said but still no luck
its when i go to install the PST_uni_patch i get the small window saying:
PST Universal Patch by m2teusz
(in a box) NVMcommon.dll
cancel or next are the options
When i click next it comes up with:
NVMcommon.dll - File not found, or File Access error!
Then it asks if you want to continue if you click no the same happens if you click yes you go onto the next .dll file and it says the same error.
I have searched for the apparantly missing .dll files and they are in the Program Files - Motorola - PST. This is where they should be i think.
So whats wrong?
Please help!
Thanks

You need to direct the patches to the motorola folder in program file...

I did think of that but by the looks of it you can't there is no option for it on the window.
Unless you know of a different way?
Thanks

Thanks

1. 'Add New Hardware Configuration' prompts you.
2. Select 'Install from a list or specific location'
3. X 'Search for best driver in these locations
'Search Removable Media(Floppy, CD-ROM...)'
X 'Include this location in the search'
for PST (C:\Program Files\Motorola\PST)
for MPT (C:\Program Files\mobilephone tools)or something similar
Note: This will vary on which program you are using.
Note2: For step 3 - X means check this | NO X means dont check this
After that let it search it should find your driver then hit finish and your all done.
