No, Ive done all that. It just cant find it. I have successfully done this on my PC at home. However, when i try it for my laptop here in college, it doesnt do anything.

It says USB device not recognized when i put it in.

Could provide more info on how you install the software, steps, type of drivers used, etc.

SP2- service pack 2 from microsoft.

Sp2 has their own BT dirver installed. If you have sp2 install, chances are windows is using it and not the bt driver that came with the cd. You would need to go to device manager and update the BT driver manually.

SP2 is Windows Service Pack 2... just another update from our fellow people at Microsoft... I personally dont like SP2, becuase:

1) Its slow
2) Overrides many features
3) Causes too many problems with existing applications...

If you need help changing the driver, or if you want to try it... post back

The only feature I like about SP2 is the popup ads. Works great!!! BUt this is beside the main point.

I have trouble installing my BT back after I reformatted my drive. It was the default BT driver from MS. It would not install the correct BT driver I had.

My fix was to go into device manager and manually install it from there. Works great know. icon_biggrin.gif
